If you do not have a CPL license and wish to purchase a pistol, you will have to obtain a Pistol Purchase Permit from Genesee County Sheriff's Office, where they will run a background check. If you do have a CPL and wish to purchase a pistol, you can print and return the Pistol Purchase Permit to Genesee County Sheriff's Office.
