Amended Development Plan and Tax Increment Financing Plan
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to state Public Act 57 of 2018, the Vienna Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 5:30 p.m., at Vienna Township Hall located at 3400 W. Vienna Road, Clio, MI 48420. The public hearing is intended to provide an opportunity for interested citizens and property owners within the Downtown Development (DDA) District (operating as the Vienna Township Business Development Authority [BDA]) to express their opinions regarding all aspects of an Amended Development Plan and Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Plan. The Development Plan and TIF Plan serves as a guide for all development and redevelopment related projects within the BDA District. The development area is proposed to remain the same and generally includes all the properties along both sides of M-54/Saginaw Road from the Township’s northern to southern border and along M-57/Vienna Road from approximately one-half mile west of Linden Road east to M-54/Saginaw Road, excluding properties within the City of Clio. In total, the BDA District encompasses approximately 3,440 acres of land. A draft copy of the Amended Development Plan and TIF Plan with all maps is available for review at the Township Hall during regular business hours, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and it is also available for download by clicking the links listed below.
Those unable to attend the public hearing are invited to submit written comments to the attention of the Vienna Township Clerk at the Township Hall address cited above. All aspects of the proposed amended development plan will be open for discussion at the public hearing. All written comments must be received by no later than 3:00 p.m. on October 4, 2023.
